Ted Allen Poore, 76, the husband of the late Lydia Smith Poore died November 09, 2021, at Prisma Health Greenville Hospital.

Born in Anderson Co., he was the son of the late Colie and Berdell Greenwood Poore. He was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church and a retired independent residential contractor. He built many homes in the Belton and Honea Path area, He was also a Gideon, serving in the Belton Camp.

Surviving are his son, Matthew Poore of Belton, and daughter Lori (Franklin) White of Anderson. 2 brothers, Ray (Peggi) and Mike (Betty Ann) Poore, 2 sisters, Sue Dunn, and Becky Cooley. 4 grandchildren Connor and Seth White and Isaac and Kendal Poore, 1 great grandson Liam White. He is proceeded in death by a son, Allen Jamison Poore and sister, Nancy Phillips.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2:00 pm at Shady Grove Baptist Church with Rev, David Cox, and Rev. Ron Fousek. The family will receive friends before service from 12:00 to 1:45. The family will be at the home

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Gideons.
