Virginia Patton Rogers, 94, widow of the late Lyman Rogers, resident of Willingham Rd., went home to Heaven Monday March 29, 2021 at the home of her daughter.
Born on December 4, 1926 in Anderson County to the late Daniel and Girlie Thomason Patton, she was a Machine Operator at Blair Mills for many years.
She was member of New Seasons Holiness Church, a former member of Beech Springs Church and a prayer warrior.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Surviving are her children, Betty Henry (John) of Piedmont, Tony Rogers (Linda) and Debbie Moss (Tommy) all of Belton; her grandchildren, Mark Moon (Katie), Stacy Singleton (Dale), Shannon Leach (Curly), Michael Rogers, Andy Rogers (Dawn), and Melissa Wilder; 13 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; her granddaughter in law Debra Wilder. She was predeceased by 2 grandchildren, Brian J Moon and Wesley Wilder, 6 sisters and 6 brothers.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00 PM from the Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dale Singleton officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
The family is at the home of Debbie and Tommy Moss and will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the hour of service at the funeral home.
