SMSGT Wayne Perry Taylor, USAF (Ret.), 58, husband of Yira Moran Taylor, resident of Owens Drive, entered into rest Wednesday May 25, 2022 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Born on June 8, 1963 Kittery ME to Sylvia Weeks Taylor and the late Perry Taylor, Wayne joined the United States Air Force in 1981 and faithfully served his country for the next 22 years and retired as Personnel Superintendent at Randolph Air Force Base Headquarters Air Force Personnel Center.
He attended Victory Baptist Church in Anderson.
Surviving other than his wife of 33 years, of the home, are his mother of Belton; his children, Perry Taylor of the home, Kristine Bunnell and husband Joseph of Anderson; his sister, Janet Brdar and husband Milo of Anderson; his brother Gordon Taylor and wife Mae of OH; his grandchildren Samuel and Julian Bunnell.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday June 3rd at 11:30 AM from the Victory Baptist Church with Pastor LeRoy Thrift officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow at M.J. “Dolly” Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
