Obituary

Belton

William “Bill” Whitner King, 93, husband of Margaret Turner King, Resident of Murdock Rd., entered into rest Friday September 15, 2023 at AnMed Health Medical Center.

Born on February 26, 1930 in Belton to the late John Mattison and Nell Shockley King, he was a graduate of Forest College. He served in the United States Army and was a retired Real Estate Broker.

A member of Belton Presbyterian Church, he served as a Deacon and an Elder. He was a member of the Belton Lions Club as well as the National Association of Realtors.

Surviving other than his loving wife of the home, are his children, Angela Louise King of Columbia, Carol King Jackson (Chesley) of Columbia; his brother Zane King of Belton; his grandchildren, Brian Dickert, Carlyle Jackson (Kathryn) and Carrie Jackson; his great grandchildren, Jackson Dickert, Riley Dickert, Turner Jackson, William Jackson, Graeme Jackson, and Bailey Jackson. He was predeceased by his brothers, Bob King and David King.

Graveside services with Military Honors will be conducted Sunday at 3:00 PM from the Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Dr. Tom Malone officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

The family is at the home.
